Our Technology Transfer event is an opportunity to see how research results can make it into the ‘real world’, creating lasting impact and benefitting the economy and the?NDE profession.? The 2025 Technology Transfer Day took place at the #UniversityofWarwick and it was well-attended by all the different members of the RCNDE community. As usual, the exchange of ideas and discussions on the next steps to advance technology took centre stage. We were thrilled to showcase six excellent practical demos from both academics and associate members, highlighting the innovative work being done across the field. Thanks to #Evident, #Diondo, #TPAC, #PeterHuthwaite, #InesCarotti and #AlexNewman.
UK Research Centre in Nondestructive Evaluation
工业机械制造业
A research collaboration between academia and industry aimed at developing inspection technology for the 21st century.
关于我们
RCNDE is a collaboration between industry and academia to coordinate research into NDE technologies, and to ensure research topics are relevant to the medium to longer-term needs of industry. RCNDE continues to be founded on the guiding principles of world-class scientific research and industrial application. The Centre’s vision is to see NDE transform into a fully integrated part of the engineering life cycle and the aim is to progressively link up with other disciplines, particularly structural integrity, materials science and engineering design.

Pete is going to be talking to the metrology community about the Centre's work in NDE for additive manufacturing
Metrology for Enterprise and Skills for Life are my focus. Growing portfolio career (post engineer exec roles) to align
Looking forward to being at the CIM in Lyon. a unique opportunity for all that rely on Measurement

What a great visit to the #UniversityofWarwich #PhysicsLabs last week. As usual a great variety of demos that show the different applications of NDE techniques, from forensics to determining space weather and altitude, detecting corrosion and residual stress in metals. Thank you to all the participants and specially to the demo presenters.

The #BINDT annual conference is always an important time for #RCNDE and the NDE community. This year's conference hosted the bi-annual RCNDE Showcase which had over 20 papers from our amazing academics and students. The RCNDE stand at the #MT2024 Exhibition was also a great success and was at all times busy and popular. The great contributions from our academics, collaborators and our own Colin Brett were recognised with a variety of prices and awards. Thank you to all the participants and volunteers, you made us all very proud!
