Habari gani!? Today’s Kwanzaa principle is Kuumba (koo-OOM-bah) and means Creativity. In November 2021 we purchased a house and 5 lots in North St. Louis city. Now that we are land owners, our trajectory has changed completely. Not only have we invested in our property, we are committed to invest in Fairground Neighborhood and the rest of North St. Louis. Recent doctoral graduate at Washington University in St. Louis in Occupational Therapy
Excited to share that I have finally walked the stage as Dr. Lo, OTD! The past 3 years have been a rollercoaster filled with smiles and tears. I’m walking out of this program, not only as a better clinician, but a better person overall. Extreme thanks to my cheerleaders Stacy West-Bruce, OTD, MSW, OTR/L Mario Millsap, MS, OTR/L Marit Nordin Watson OTD, OTR/L, PMH-C Duana Russell Thomas and everyone else in the OT Department for helping me fail forward! Now, onto Capstone where I’ll be working with Ujima STL as the Program Coordinator working to increase food justice, environmental stewardship, and youth empowerment!
