There's no better time to tour our campus than on a beautiful spring day! In collaboration with the UIC Admissions, UIC Equity & Inclusion in Engineering Program?welcomed 90 students and their families from across the country to?campus?as they attended the?#NSBE2025?National Convention this month! During their visit, they got an inside look at what makes?#UICEngineering?the perfect place to kick-start their careers right in the heart of Chicago, a city that’s diverse, innovative, and leading the way in technology. They also had the chance to engage with our amazing?@NSBEatUIC?student leaders and try deep-dish pizza!

Alumna Mili Isaza BS '23 became the role model she didn’t have. As an engineer at one of Chicago’s top engineering firms and a motivational youth speaker, Isaza shares her story of hope and resilience to inspire women and young girls to pursue STEM. Isaza grew up in Venezuela, where she faced hardships and viewed education as a way to improve her life. She graduated summa cum laude after 14 years of hard work and dedication. Her contributions to the engineering field embody the spirit of Women’s History Month.
