Ukpea?vik I?upiat Corporation (UIC) was incorporated under the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act (ANCSA) as a Native Village Corporation on April 19, 1973, and is now one of Alaska’s largest companies with over 3,500 employees, and 40 active subsidiaries. We are proud of our expanding operations, which currently span over twenty-five different industries and business lines throughout most of the United States and in many foreign countries. UIC was also recently recognized with three prestigious rankings by Forbes: 2021 Number 72 of Best Mid-Sized Employers, Number 346 of Best Employer for Diversity in 2020, and Number 285 for Best Employer for Diversity in 2021.
