We had a blast leading a masterclass in Brand Fundamentals for CPG accelerator SKU! Our class kicked off an intensive 12-week program for 8 brands and their founders. We focused on brand building and positioning, showing how important brand is in every aspect of the business. Thank you for having us! The Spring '25 Track kickoff in Newport Beach was nothing short of amazing. Set against the backdrop of the sparkling Pacific, it provided the perfect atmosphere for forging connections and celebrating new beginnings. Bonding with the founders at their beachside digs added an extra layer of camaraderie. We can't wait for the first class tomorrow on brand building and positioning taught by mentors Julie Steinhagen and Katie Kravit from Ugly Wolf. They will have the chance to meet with their mentor teams who will be guiding them throughout the 12-week program. A big thank you SKU alums Dr. Farnoush Fadavi and Dr. Arash Aftabi from Bala Enzyme for hosting us at their beautiful community on a hillside overlooking the sparkling Pacific. Kobi: Founded by Si?n Owen, Kobi makes better body care products for kids and teens designed specifically for the more sensitive skin that young people have. Kobi currently offers kid-friendly deodorant, face wash, body wash, and foot spray, with more products in the works. NIRAMAYA FOODS: Founded by Mehek Khera, Niramaya is an Indian-American snack food brand that brings healthy, grain free snacks with bold flavors that everyone can enjoy at any time of the day. They have a line of 3 versatile dips and 4 flavors of Naan Pretzels. PetPax Co. Co: Founded by Anthony Gatti and Nathan Ruff-Williams, PetPax is revolutionizing pet wellness with fast-acting, science-backed supplements designed for convenience and effectiveness. pi00a: Founded by Rylan Stein, Russ Stein, Melody Stein and Taysia Stein, pi00a is a Deaf and CODA family owned business that specializes in handcrafted frozen Asian-inspired Neapolitan pizzas. Their mission is to create job opportunities for the Deaf community. Rookies: Founded by Jordan Nickerson and Holly Nickerson, Rookie's seeks to create "memorable dessert experiences" through its handcrafted ice cream and cookie sandwiches. Saint Rocco's Treats: Founded by brothers Kaleb Rush and Kolby Rush, Saint Rocco's makes human-grade dog treats, meal toppers and food.
