Happy Read Across America Week! ?? This week, we're celebrating the magic of reading and the worlds that open up when we turn a page. UGI Utilities has a long-standing partnership with Reading Is Fundamental, and a commitment to early literacy throughout our communities. The RIF program provides more than 50,000 books to more than 18,000 first-grade students each year. This week our teams have been visiting local schools to deliver literacy kits, provide books to students, and read aloud to the kids – and The Reading Wizard came along to a few visits! Yesterday, UGI's Black Organizational Leadership & Development (BOLD) employee resource group welcomed journalist Aundrea Cline-Thomas for "Empowering Voices: Elevating Stories in the Workplace" as part of our Black History Month celebrations. Employees from across UGI’s businesses gathered both at our Valley Forge office and virtually to engage in a meaningful discussion about authentic storytelling and creating inclusive spaces where diverse perspectives thrive. Aundrea shared valuable insights on how embracing our unique stories strengthens team dynamics and fosters environments where everyone feels empowered to contribute.
