Some good news! We've reached commercial operation on our 847kW rooftop #CommunitySolar project in #NewYorkCity! This project will produce enough clean electricity to power roughly 200 homes. Another successful project (our sixth!) with our long-term partner WILDFLOWER LTD ??

Another great company offsite in the books! We connected with colleagues old and new; discussed successes, lessons learned, and opportunities in our work; and got artistic with a glass painting class ?? Feeling energized and excited to get back to work!

It's official! We're so excited to embark on this next phase of growth with NOVA Infrastructure. We had two fantastic interns this summer! Olivia Nave (left) joined our Development team while Khanh Bui (right) joined our Project Finance team. They impressed us with their professionalism, eagerness to learn, and the valuable contributions they made over just a couple months. We'll be cheering them on as they head into their senior years at college and, who knows, maybe they'll find their ways back to us after graduation (like former summer interns turned full-timers Isaac Williams and Sydney Rosensaft)!

Fly over our newly completed #CommunitySolar project in Staten Island, New York! With this project energized, we now have 10 rooftop solar projects in metro #NYC within our operating portfolio. Thank you to our project host Feldco Development, who owns the building where the project sits. In addition to reducing their carbon footprint and helping provide Staten Islanders with cheaper, cleaner energy, Feldco receives long-term lease revenue on the rooftop space used for the solar project. An exciting new statistic: ????% of electric capacity additions so far this year have been #solar. Adding wind, renewables represent 99% of all capacity additions. #CommunitySolar is delivering on its promise to expand #EnergyEquity, a recent study from Berkeley Lab has confirmed. The study found that community solar subscribers are 6x more likely to live in multifamily housing and 4x more likely to be renters. https://lnkd.in/eqX4UFep We're proud to be contributing to a more equitable energy transition, while also encouraging lawmakers to pass additional policy interventions that will further expand access to cheaper, cleaner energy for lower-income Americans.
