Huge thanks to everyone that came to listen to Jeff Bartel speak yesterday about how to approach career, professional development, and life! A key take away for us is a simple yet powerful concept: Takers, Matchers, and Givers. Although we deal with these three types of people every day, we often overlook it. Bringing it to consciousness is a great way to learn how to deal differently with people and attain more desirable results in any transactional relationship. We hope to see everyone at our next meeting on Tuesday at 6:30pm in Stuzin 103, where we will be discussing relative and instrinsic valuation concepts. ?? ??

Thanks to everyone who attended yesterday's meeting! During our second GBM of the semester we discussed the rise of private equity and direct lending stemming from the early 2000s. As the semester draws to a close, we extend our heartfelt appreciation to everyone who joined and engaged in our weekly meetings. It's been a pleasure journeying through the world of finance with you, exploring its diverse opportunities together. Tonight, we celebrated our End of Semester Social with a screening of the film, Margin Call. It was a delightful evening filled with memories and insight. Wishing each of you the very best as you prepare for your final exams!??

We were thrilled to have hosted our own internship panel during today's meeting! ?? A heartfelt thank you to all who joined us, and a special shout-out to our exceptional student speakers who shared their invaluable insights on navigating interviews, finding internship opportunities, and drawing from their past job experiences. In today’s meeting, we learned fundamentals of Financial Modeling and Intrinsic Valuation, covering essential topics such as DCF models.
