关于我们
The Space Systems Design Club is a student organization at the University of Florida dedicated to fostering interest in space systems technology such as satellites and other in-space assistive devices. We aim to expose members to examples of real-world space technology applications and expand their knowledge through participating in design teams, hosting relevant workshops, connecting with research opportunities, and introducing guest speakers from the industry. We currently participate in two competitions: American Astronautical Society's CanSat, and NASA's Micro-G Next. Our CanSat teams design, build, and launch compact payloads with complex mission objectives. Members of our Micro-G team design and prototype tools and devices to be tested in NASA's Neutral Buoyancy Laboratory. Our teams are composed of driven students from a variety of engineering disciplines, determined to advancing the future of technology and space exploration.
