Gators representing at Duke and Georgia Tech Regional Basketball Tournaments - Current student staff and Alums. Let's Go Gators!!! It was a great weekend at Duke University for the Gators! ?* Patrick, Sport Programs Sup,?was given the Women's Champ Game assignment and Niki, Sport Programs Sup, was selected as a All-Tournament Official as well as given a bid to the National Basketball Tournament in April. ? * Irmarie, Sport Programs PA,?and the Women's Basketball Club team played hard and made it to the semifinals but fell to the eventual tournament champs, South Carolina. ? * Smith,Trell?worked the table for the Women's and Men's champ games. ? Gators Swarm Georgia Tech * Matt, Sport Programs Sup, represented for UF RecSports well! * Irmarie, Sport Programs PA, participated with our Women's Basketball team. Director, Programs, Department of Recreational Sports at University of Florida
Today is UF's Annual Day of Giving, and I find myself reflecting on the impact RecSports has had on me as well as all of our past student staff. It has been a source of development, joy, and has continued to shape my experiences. UF RecSports has provided me with an wonderful work FAMILY. I remember and see the lifelong friends made here, I see the competencies and skills gained through your job here, I see those stories and experiences being formed that we will be able to recall years from now and one of my favorite parts is I remember the amazing conversations, guidance, mentoring, and/or the opportunity to sit and have tea and chat about life. As we come together to celebrate UF Giving Day, I am grateful for the lasting impressions UF RecSports has left on me, and I am eager to support its continued success in shaping the lives of our students.
