As we celebrate National Physical Therapy Month this October, we’re highlighting the vital role physical therapists play in inpatient hospital settings. At UF Health Shands Hospital, Justin Sherry, PT, exemplifies the impact of physical therapy, especially in our Burn Unit, where he helps patients regain mobility, strength, and independence during challenging recoveries. Physical therapy is a key part of the healing process in hospitals, and professionals like Justin bring both expertise and compassion to their work, making a significant difference in patient outcomes. We’re grateful for the dedication and care he shows each day. Thank you, Justin, for your commitment to transforming lives! ??
