Congratulations to Amer, a nurse at UF Health Emergency and Urgent Care Center, for making a Gator Gold Gesture and embodying our UF Health Difference Service Standards! ?? When a 94-year-old patient crossed eight lanes of traffic to reach the ER, Amer provided compassionate care in just 10 minutes. She later shared: "Amer made me feel as though he had spent an hour—simply through his attentiveness and kindness. He went above and beyond to ensure I had what I needed and even looked out for my safety beyond the hospital doors." Amer’s compassion and advocacy truly make a difference. Thank you, Amer, for your dedication to patient-centered care!
