We just wrapped up an energizing two-day training with the SMSB Yuvraj Singh Foundation (YouWeCan) team in Wayanad Mananthavady, held at the Abhaya Centre under the Government of Kerala. We trained a passionate team of five, including their regional head and cluster coordinators, equipping them with the iBreastExam's innovative technology. Now, the team is geared up to launch independent screening camps across the community, making early breast cancer detection accessible to more women, especially in hard-to-reach areas. The Breast Cancer Screening Drive for female police officers in Pune was inaugurated by Dean Dr. Eknath Pawar of B.J. Medical College, ACP Mr. Pathare, MD of Ammanora City Corporation Mr. Aniruddha Deshpande, along with other officers. Dr. Pawar emphasized, "We are in a war against breast cancer. Today, two of Pune's largest teams of warriors—the police department and the medical team from Sassoon Hospital—are uniting to combat this enemy. Through early detection with this device, we will defeat the disease." Our participation at the World Cancer Congress in Geneva, organized by Union for International Cancer Control (UICC) was a complete success! UE LifeSciences hosted the impactful session, “Navigating Early Detection Disparities: A Hope for Women Everywhere,” moderated by Dr. Ari Brooks, MD. The session brought together global experts, including Maimah Karmo, Dr. Murallitharan Munisamy, and Jyoti Patel, to discuss the urgent need for equitable and scalable breast cancer detection solutions.
