On a windy December day, the STAR Health Sciences Complex was transformed into a place of warmth, support, and solidarity for Delaware’s LGBTQ+ community during the Empowered Futures event. Organized in just three weeks, the event brought together over 20 incredible organizations and countless volunteers dedicated to legal and healthcare readiness.??
?“Every volunteer and organization showed up with the understanding that if they could help just one person, it was all worth it,” shared Katlyn Culhane-Suluai, program manager of the Partnership for Healthy Communities and event organizer.??
