?? Today, as we recognize National Women and Girls HIV/AIDS Awareness Day (#NWGHAAD), let’s shine a light on the crucial aspects of women’s health. Did you know that nearly 23% of those living with HIV in the U.S. are women? In 2021, women accounted for 20% of new diagnoses, with the highest rates among ages 25-44. With advances in testing and treatment, we’re making strides towards ending the HIV epidemic by 2030! The theme for #NWGHAAD2025 is “Hope, Health, and Healing: Overcoming Barriers to HIV/AIDS Treatment for Women and Girls.” Let’s focus on priority populations as outlined in the NHAS—especially Black women and youth aged 13-24. Want to learn more? Contact UCS Healthcare at ??515-280-3860 or ??[email protected] for resources and support. Together, we can foster awareness & advocate for change! ???? #HIVAwareness #WomenHealth
