Earlier this month, our UCR Nikkei Student Union hosted our 9th annual Culture Night, Ichiyo-raifuku! Our student organization showcased the beauty of Japanese and Japanese American culture through our Play, Odori, Modern, and Talent Show! We additionally were fortunate to have performances from Senryu Taiko and Sakurabu. Thank you to our Co-Culture Night chairs, Treyton Omura and Layna Lapikas, for spearheading this wonderful event! ?

Nikkei Student Union (NSU) is an socio-cultural organization devoted to promoting, preserving, and educating the surrounding community and college-aged youth about the history of Japanese and Japanese Americans through cultural events and social activities. We host bi-weekly General Meetings where our NSU community gather to learn more about Japanese American Culture, participate in engaging games and icebreaker activities, as well as hear more about upcoming events open to General Members.
