This past Sunday (10/27), the UConn Consulting Group had our Fall 2024 Alumni Event in Boston, MA. A huge thank you to the UCG alumni who joined us to reconnect with the team. We appreciate your support as we continue to grow!

The UConn Consulting Group is excited to introduce our Fall 2024 Analyst class. We are thrilled to welcome these exceptionally talented students, who stood out in a highly competitive applicant pool, to our team! Emory Anderson is a Freshman Finance major at the University of Connecticut. She joined UCG because she loved the idea of being part of a group that offers both dedicated work opportunities and a close-knit community. Outside of UCG, Emory is involved in the UConn Investment Banking Society, Women’s Finance Association, and the Finance Society. A fun fact about Emory is that she has goldsmith training! Haseeb Chaudhry is a Freshman majoring in Physiology and Neurobiology at the University of Connecticut. He joined UCG to develop the skills needed to solve the business challenges that scientific companies often face. Outside of UCG, Haseeb is involved in the Special Program in Medicine, Nucleate Dojo, and Daigle Labs. A fun fact about Haseeb is that he once beat a Turkish ice cream man at his own game! Cody Kiesman is a Freshman majoring in Economics at the University of Connecticut. He joined UCG to grow his professional skills and to be surrounded by like-minded individuals. A fun fact about Cody is that he golfed an average of 5 days a week last summer! Sagar Patel is a Junior double majoring in Finance and Computer Science at the University of Connecticut. He joined UCG to gain hands-on experience and insights into consulting as a career field. On campus, Sagar serves as the Vice President of Ascend and is also involved in the Finance Society and the Investment Banking Society. A fun fact about Sagar is that he has traveled to 12 countries! Elijah Williams is a Sophomore double majoring in Finance and Economics at the University of Connecticut. He joined UCG for the unique experiential learning opportunities and the network of hard-working individuals who have inspired him to push himself and strive for greatness. On campus, Elijah is involved in the Scholars Learning Community, NABA, UIBS, Hillside Ventures, and serves as a Residential Assistant. He enjoys exploring new places and trying different foods whenever he travels! Congratulations again to all our new analysts. We are excited to have you join the team!

Congratulations to our May 2024 graduates! We couldn’t be more proud. Cassandra Barbino graduated with honors, receiving a dual degree in finance and French. Post-grad she will be working as an investment banking analyst at Guggenheim Securities in NYC. Tom Drumm graduated with honors, receiving a dual degree in finance and agricultural & resource economics. Post-grad he will be working as an investment banking analyst at Goldman Sachs in NYC. Sofya Levitina graduated with honors as a BOLD Scholar, IDEA Grant Fellow, and University Scholar for her research on black holes using CAMELS simulations. She received a dual degree in physics and mathematics & statistics, and a minor in astrophysics. Victoria Reid graduated a semester early in December 2023,?receiving a degree in finance. Post-grad she will be working as a commercial banking analyst at Citi in NYC. Congratulations again to the UConn Consulting Group of 2024. We wish you all the best - Go huskies!?

Last Friday, several members from the UConn Consulting Group had the opportunity to attend the University of Connecticut School of Business Hall of Fame Celebration. Congratulations to all of the inductees!?It was a privilege to attend?such a wonderful ceremony and?connect?with so many impressive and involved individuals within the School of Business community. Thank you to everyone who made this event?possible,?and?to?those who continually strive to make UConn a valuable and supportive place for students to thrive.?The shared sense of pride in being a husky that extends well beyond graduation is a credit to the hard work and dedication of the caring faculty,?alumni, and supporters who make this community what it is.

This past Saturday (3/23) the UConn Consulting Group hosted a McKinsey panel. Huge thank you to Kelly Finn and Hanzel Gregorius for coming to campus and to all the students who attended! It was truly special to have such talented people give us their time, wisdom, and insights into the management consulting industry.
