The first Kuwait Organ Failure Symposium took place at the Waldorf Astoria hotel in Kuwait on November 23, 2024, in partnership with the University of Chicago Medicine. Renowned physicians from the University of Chicago Medicine, Kuwait, and Saudi Arabia presented on topics related to organ failure and organ transplantation.

For the seventh time,?The Leapfrog Group?has named the University of Chicago Medical Center a Top Teaching Hospital for its high standards in patient safety and quality of care. It is one of only 75 hospitals in the country to earn the distinction. https://lnkd.in/eqD8fSVk

Dr. Pablo Sanchez, Surgical Director of Lung Transplant Program at UChicago Medicine, participated in the Annual Congress of the Mexican Society of Cardiac Surgery (SMCC), held recently in Guadalajara Nov 15-18, 2024. During the congress, Dr. Sanchez delivered several lectures and provided his valuable insights on lung Transplant to the prominent national and international experts who joined the event from all around the world.

UChicago Medicine offered a physician leadership education program to 5 physician leaders from Peking Union Medical College Hospital, UCM’s long standing strategic partner in China. These physician leaders sent 2 weeks at UChicago Medicine to learn how clinical departments manage their clinical, research and educational tasks as well as best practice of hospital management. They shadowed alongside UChicago Medicine doctors and surgeons, learning new innovative techniques and administration skills.
