UCM’s Bob Gierszal and Tony Bruno – our SVP and Chairman of our Projects Division, respectively - represented UCM at the recent TPM25 event in Long Beach. Aside from being an informative and productive time, it also gave a chance to gather together with a number of clients and long-time industry friends. 2024 was a banner year for UCM and our customers, with an abundance of creative cargo moves, charter opportunities and expanded network alliances and resources. There aren’t a lot of opportunities to fill up between California and Hawaii, so when a helicopter needs to be repositioned it needs some expertise and TLC to get it there, ready to fly when it arrives.?So, when our new customer needed a ride for this Airbus D2 from San Diego to Honolulu, they called on us to make sure this beauty arrived safe and sound. Back on July 30th we told you about how we created a hub for deliveries at Humen, China for a new trans-Pacific opportunity, transporting cargo from 6 different Asian locations to the US West Coast.
