As a faculty member of the Leadership and Society Initiative, Jens Ludwig offers valuable insights into his work with LSI. "LSI creates an exciting opportunity to bring accomplished leaders into the University community for meaningful, two-way learning. Their expertise and experiential wisdom significantly enriches perspective on campus, and they can be extraordinary activators for extending some of the new evidence and discoveries we generate here. I've been a longtime Faculty Advisor to LSI and have had LSI Fellows in my classes, as project collaborators, and most recently in a two-day symposium on violence reduction, and it's been a pleasure to learn from and with these leaders along the way." Jens serves as Distinguished Service Professor, Director of the University of Chicago's Crime Lab, Co-Director of the Education Lab, and Co-Director of the National Bureau of Economic Research. We are fortunate to have him serve as an advisor to Fellows and a key partner in our Immersion Days focused on Violence Prevention and Community Safety. We appreciate his ongoing support and work with LSI Fellows.?

Given my passion for leadership effectiveness and lifelong learning, I am thrilled to be an advisor to the UChicago Leadership & Society Initiative (LSI). Seth Green creates a dynamic environment for advisors to contribute their talents and perspectives for the benefit of LSI and its participants.
Our LSI mentors and advisors are extraordinary leaders. Today, we're proud to showcase Jeffery Perry, Founder and CEO of Lead Mandates LLC, for his invaluable guidance and support. After retiring as Global Client Service Partner at EY in 2020, Jeffery has designed a portfolio life where he serves on corporate and non-profit boards, including currently serving as a Board Director for Fortune Brands Innovations and as Chair of the Board of Trustees at Babson College. Jeffery's quote speaks to what he values about LSI and why he is an advisor and ambassador in our efforts. #MentorMonday #InspiredbyLSI #AdvisorsInAction
