??Congratulations to Our Amazing Medical Assistants! ?? We are so proud to celebrate the success of four of our incredible team members who recently completed the Medical Assistant Program in partnership with the Regional Center for Border Health, Inc. The program consisted of the completion of 120 clinical skill hours and 189 online lecture hours for a total of 309 hours and a state certification exam. All 4 students successfully passed the medical office specialist and medical assistant state certification exams making them officially certified medical assistants!

Event Recap: The History of United Community Health Center (UCHC) It was a memorable morning of learning, reflection, and appreciation for the incredible work of UCHC and its impact on the Santa Cruz Valley. We were honored to have Dr. Donald Smith, M.D., Lori Juris (original CEO), and Claudette Pippin (Former CFO) share their stories and insights into how the Rural Health Office, an initiative born from the University of Arizona College of Medicine, grew from its humble beginnings in a trailer on White House Canyon Road to the thriving network of clinics we now have in Amado, Arivaca, Green Valley, Sahuarita, Three Points, and Vail. Thank you to all who joined us at the @Joyner-Green Valley Library and thanks to Dr. Amy Rosenberg, M.D. and our friends from the Santa Cruz Valley Historical Society for hosting this event!
