The mission of the University of Central Florida’s Doctor of Physical Therapy Program is to cultivate excellence in physical therapist practice through comprehensive and focused doctoral education. The program fosters excellence through its dedication to foundational sciences, clinical skill proficiency, research and evidence-based practice, service and professional duty, and lifelong learning. The program is committed to the development and strengthening of the healthcare community in order to optimize patient care in the dynamic healthcare environment. All UCF DPT students are required to attend (over 100) and students look forward to learning more about career opportunities your organization may have to offer through this event. For additional details and to register for this event, click the link below. Registration is $200 (plus processing fee) per organization and includes the tabling fee and one (1) parking pass.   • The Division of Physical Therapy would like to extend a huge congratulations to our four award winners at the 2025 APTA Combined Sections Meeting (CSM) national conference last week in Houston. Dr. Carey Rothschild received the AASPT Award for Excellence in Teaching at the Sports Award Ceremony. Dr. Rick Beato received the Outstanding Service Award at the Neurologic Award Ceremony. Dr. Kyle Reedy, our alumnus, received the Outstanding Clinician Award at the Neurologic Award Ceremony. Dr. Uzair Hammad, our alumnus, received the Spinal Cord Injury Special Interest Group (SCI SIG) Outstanding Service Award. APTA Specialties Commissioners, Drs. Beato and Rothschild, were celebrated with the rest of the board during the recognition ceremony of newly board certified specialists.
