Yesterday, 116 of our medical students -- and tens of thousands from across the country — celebrated "Match Day" as they simultaneously learned where they’ll attend residency training after graduation this spring. The Society for Obstetric Anesthesia and Perinatology (SOAP) just announced that we have renewed our prestigious SOAP Center of Excellence designation! ?? The SOAP Center of Excellence designation sets a benchmark for expected care that helps improve national standards by providing quality metrics for institutions that offer obstetric (OB) anesthesia care. “We are very excited that UC Davis Health has been renewed as a center of excellence in OB anesthesia,” said Ross Bakhtari, chief of obstetric anesthesia, which is a specialty within the Department of Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine at UC Davis Health. “This recognition reflects the dedication, hard work, and unwavering commitment to delivering the highest standard of care in the vital field of OB anesthesia.” Learn more about the designation: https://lnkd.in/gAvXcAyq
