This Social Work Month, we honor and appreciate the incredible dedication of our social workers, who play a vital role in ensuring our patients receive the support and resources they need. Whether assisting families in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, offering guidance in the Emergency Department, providing specialized care at the MIND Institute, or supporting patients in countless other ways, their commitment knows no bounds. Available 24/7, they are always there to lend a helping hand, break down barriers, and make a meaningful difference in the lives of those they serve. #SWMonth2025

?? Happy Certified Nurses Day! ?? Today, we celebrate the nurses who have gone above and beyond to achieve certification—a mark of excellence that demonstrates advanced knowledge, expertise, and dedication to specialty practice. Earning certification is not easy—but it is worth it! ?? I am incredibly proud to recognize our Nursing Professional Development (NPD) team at the Center for Professional Practice of Nursing, where we have achieved a 100% certification rate! Every one of our NPD nurses holds a specialty certification in NPD—a testament to our commitment to excellence and advocacy for lifelong learning. Beyond our team, collective efforts have made a significant impact at UC Davis Health, where an outstanding 58.7% of all RNs are certified! Dr. Sandy Ngo Moubarek, chief resident for the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, provides a glimpse into the role: https://lnkd.in/gnsAvA2b
