?? Exciting News for University of Cincinnati Students! ?? The Professional and Technical Career Fair kicks off today at 10 AM in the Campus Recreation Center. This is a golden opportunity for UC students and recent graduates to connect with recruiters and hiring managers for co-op positions, internships, and full-time, post-graduation jobs. ?? Here's what you need to know: More than 140 companies and organizations will attend each day, with a different set of companies daily. Tuesday is all about business fields, featuring co-op/internship and full-time opportunities. Open to students in all majors interested in working with primarily for-profit companies. All companies will be in the Campus Recreation Center. Wednesday and Thursday focus on engineering and IT: Wednesday: Companies will be in the Campus Recreation Center and the Tangeman University Center (TUC). Thursday: All companies will be in the Campus Recreation Center. Engineering and IT majors are encouraged to attend both days, as different companies will be present each day. Tips for Success: You don't need to attend the fair for the full five hours. Most students spend one to three hours over one or two days. On Monday the Greater Cincinnati ISSA chapter, in collaboration with School of Information Technology at the University of Cincinnati and Xavier University had our first ever Career "Speed Dating/Lighting" Round event, where cybersecurity students from both schools met with over 20 security professionals representing 10 different careers within the cybersecurity, in small, dedicated groups to learn about these different roles. The event provided knowledge and exposure of opportunities to the students, insights towards finding and thriving in a security career, and networking amongst students and professionals that will ensure ongoing connection and partnership. Thank you so much to all of the great security practitioners and students that made this event such a success! Also thank you to Bekah Michael, Kelli Anderson and Molly Linkous for your help in driving student attendance, and for hosting the event on UC's campus!
