Meet Gokhan Askoy! Our General Manager of Latitude Restaurant grew up in Turkey and has worked at UC Davis for 25 years, starting as a student employee. His favorite parts of his job are working with students, the food and educating customers about food. His guilty pleasure food is Dos Coyotes’ rancho burrito. Meet Chef Roger Thompson! Our executive chef of Latitude Restaurant has been cooking professionally for 26 years and has worked at UC Davis for 8 years. His favorite type of food to prepare is Asian cuisine, and his favorite on-campus dining event to prepare for was Latitude’s opening. His guilty pleasure food is any type of carb, and his hobbies outside of work include golf, video games and watching sports, specifically the Giants and Niners.
