#UBuffalo is welcoming outstanding doctoral candidates to campus this week as part of the Visiting Future Faculty (VITAL) Program, which aims to contribute to the growth of faculty from traditionally underrepresented and marginalized populations in the U.S. This year, the #UBSDM and Department of Restorative Dentistry are delighted to host 2024 VITAL scholar Giovanna Corrêa Denucci, DDS, MSc, a PhD candidate in dental sciences from the Indiana University School of Dentistry! Dr. Denucci's research focuses on erosive tooth wear, with a particular emphasis on non-carious cervical lesions (NCCLs). She aims to deepen the understanding of NCCLs etiology, early diagnosis, and clinical management.
