At Ubongo, one of our biggest drivers is ensuring that our content is accessible to everyone who needs it. With different locations, access to media on different platforms varies. In collaboration with researchers from the #KhadijaEducationalFoundation in Kano, Nigeria, and the School of Public Health at the University of Maryland, we conducted a comprehensive study to explore how Nigerian kids reception and understanding of educational content vary across different media platforms. ?? Here is the complete study: https://lnkd.in/d7vcR7QQ #ubongoimpact #edutainment #buildingchange #educationforall cc Dina Borzekowski, Angshuman Kashyap, MPH, Leba Rudack, Mamun Jahun, and Hadiza Babayaro

One of the things we pride ourselves with is creating content that resonates with the different kids across Africa. Our secret? A relentless focus on research, inclusive design, and distribution to ensure every kid can engage and learn through our programming. Guided by the Child’s Learning Journey curriculum, we create age-appropriate content that builds foundational and lifelong skills for kids aged 3-14. This approach allows us to shape content that meets each developmental stage, fostering growth that sticks. Through our five year strategy, we are committed to: ??Strengthening Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning: measuring and improving our programs’ impact on cognitive and social-emotional learning. ??Customizing Production: adapting content to diverse audience needs, whether kids have simple devices or the latest technology. ??Prioritizing the Learning Journey: addressing curriculum gaps to amplify kids' growth. ??Optimizing Distribution: strategically reaching more kids through tailored approaches. ??
