Many of our Retail Partners have been pushing their supplier base to establish domestic operations to fulfill their omni-channel strategy. Omni-Channel is the present and the future, but there are a lot of costs to think about when building your P&L for the US Market. We've created a short list of those costs below! Direct Shipping Costs Freight Charges: -Ground Shipping: Cost depends on weight, dimensions, and distance. -Air Shipping: More expensive, used for faster delivery. -Ocean Shipping: Used for large shipments, usually less expensive but slower. -Fuel Surcharges: Additional fees based on fluctuating fuel prices. -Handling Fees: Charges for the physical handling of goods during shipping. -Customs and Duties (for international shipments): Taxes and fees for importing goods into the USA. -Insurance: Coverage for loss or damage during transit.
