Check out this incredible video that gives a behind the scenes look at how a team of scientists from the University of Arizona identified the farthest known galaxy, JADES GS-z14-0, existing just 300 million years after the Big Bang! The discovery was made possible using advanced instruments NIRCam and MIRI, both led at the university, aboard NASA's James Webb Space Telescope. This discovery reshapes our understanding of galaxy evolution, revealing the intricacy of the early universe. Watch now to see how our researchers confirmed the farthest galaxy ever observed: https://lnkd.in/grygkg8t

It was great to see so much thoughtful, informative discussion about this topic. Collaborations like this would not be possible without the support of our partners on and off campus.
A big "thank you!" to everyone who came out to our public PFAS symposium!?? ??We're especially grateful to the newly appointed SVP of University of Arizona Research, Innovation & Impact, Tomas Diaz de la Rubia, who joined us at the event to offer opening remarks on his first full day on campus! ??

The Flinn Foundation and SRI International are working with Arizona leaders to design the third iteration of Arizona’s Bioscience Roadmap, which has guided development of our bioscience sector since 2002! SRI has now launched a survey to understand Arizona’s bioscience ecosystem competitiveness, talent pipeline, organizational needs, and research and commercialization challenges. The survey is lengthy—about 20 minutes to complete—but essential in building the new Roadmap. It’s time to make yourself heard! https://lnkd.in/gaSY_egU
