UAlbany UNA-USA

United Nations Association of the United States of America (UNA-USA) UAlbany is a multifaceted organization that seeks to advance the vision of the UN on the grassroots level through advocacy, creativity, outreach, and education. UNA-USA UAlbany is committed to shaping its members into dynamic leaders, who will build support for the United Nations within their communities. In addition to this, members are challenged to identify a breadth of issues that affect their communities and find ways and means to combat them effectively. The organization also encourages its members to become global citizens by keeping them informed on relevant issues that affect the world today. The organization provides a platform for like-minded, passionate and committed persons to collaborate, create, campaign and cause change locally, nationally and internationally. It also welcomes curious and interested persons to participate in all activities. In order to achieve the above, UNA UAlbany will host weekly meetings and organize fundraising, community-building and awareness events. The organization will also work extensively with other political, cultural and academic organizations on campus to co-host diverse programs that promote the vision of the UN.
