The Department of Radiology, as part of the UAB Heersink School of Medicine and UAB Health System, participates in clinical care, education, and research activities. The department, under the leadership of Dr. Cheri Canon, consists of six divisions; Advanced Medical Imaging Research, Diagnostic Radiology, Interventional Radiology, Molecular Imaging and Therapeutics, Physics and Engineering, and Imaging Informatics.
