My favorite competition format in racquet sports is team competitions. Having played for the Salvadoran National Team at the Pan American Games and for Bates College in the CSA, I have experienced firsthand the excitement of Team Squash. Nowadays, I am just a fan, but the excitement is still there. One of the best things about what we do at Club Locker is enabling organizations like US Squash, the College Squash Association, the Squash and Education Alliance, and others to successfully run these types of events. The combination of our Competition Management tools—which include Tournament Management, the Live Score app for referees, and real-time analytics—along with our streaming capabilities via Club Locker Venue, creates an amazing experience for both participants and fans. As we come to the end of “Team Squash Season” in the United States, it has been great to look back and see the sport’s growth, both in the level of play and in participation. We are extremely proud to play a part in this! If you would like to learn more about how Club Locker can help your National Governing Body or Club increase participation and engagement, please reach out or meet us in person at RacquetX this week! We are very excited to join the racquet sports community at this year’s conference! Justin Russell Ryan Rayfield

🎉 Happy National Girls and Women in Sports Day 🎉   Today, we're reflecting on the strides made so far to advance women and girls' squash programming and looking toward the future.    In 2024, US Squash hosted 11 coaches to certify 177 new coaches. However, only 22% of these coaches were women. We envision a future where players can thrive under the care of dedicated women squash coaches who can inspire, educate and mentor across all levels of squash as new players join the ranks of over 4,600 active women players nationwide. With your help, we can offer free coaching courses to women interested in pursing squash coaching, starting with college players looking to continue in the sport post-grad. Increasing the number of dedicated women’s coaches nationwide leads to expanded encouragement, support and skill for young players to tackle both the glass the court and glass ceiling.   Directly support Women & Girls Squash here: https://lnkd.in/dRkn3QuS

🗣 "Inclusion in the Olympic Games has provided us with an entirely different lens through which to view our sport and its development. Most conversations I have include some sort of connection with or relationship to the Olympics in some way. Inclusion clearly creates a unique opportunity to leverage broader awareness of squash, expand our reach and increase participation." -Kevin Klipstein, US Squash President & CEO In his most recent "Message from the CEO" column, Kevin Klipstein expands on the impact of Olympic Inclusion for #Squash, looking forward to a busy season of national championships at the Arlen Specter US Squash Center and supporting the growth and development of the sport through the U.S. Squash Foundation.
