Thirty years ago, President Clinton signed the Violence Against Women Act, an important – but far from final – step in the effort to eliminate gender-based violence. At the Department of Labor, we believe no one should lose pay or their job while managing the trauma of gender-based violence. That’s why we support access to paid, job-protected safe leave for all workers.
