#NEWS: Today, the Biden-Harris Administration announced that the U.S. Department of Commerce and Wolfspeed, Inc. have signed a non-binding preliminary memorandum of terms to provide up to $750 million in proposed direct funding under the CHIPS and Science Act. The National Hurricane Center reports that Hurricane Milton is rapidly intensifying over the Gulf of Mexico as it approaches the west coast of Florida. It will be a major hurricane capable of producing life-threatening storm surges and damaging winds. Storm surge and hurricane warnings are now in effect for portions of the Florida coast, and residents should follow local officials’ advice and evacuate if told to do so. https://lnkd.in/e5fHkzp4
