Today's #ACCSpotlight is on Andrew Rhodes from ACC-Aberdeen Proving Ground, a contract specialist with the Natick Contract Division with eight years of experience there. He started working for ACC on the Operational Branch as a procurement analyst. During this time he saw a gap in the administrative metrics that could be filled and envisioned a dashboard for his division that could be used to check the status on all administrative actions at any given time in order to assure nothing was falling through the cracks. With the support of his division chief, he developed the Employee Administration Tracking System (EATS) to do just that. #BeAllYouCanBe #WinEveryDay #WorkforceWednesday

#MICC contracting professionals redeployed to their home stations after the successful completion of a months-long deployment in support of the U.S. Central Command's strategic mission in Iraq. 419th Contracting Support Brigade Soldiers across three of its five battalions were tasked in support of the CENTCOM deployment from June 23, 2024, with the arrival of the advanced party, until March 18, 2025, when the last teammate returned to their home station. They ensured critical supplies and services were delivered on time to the supported units across Northern Iraq and the Eastern Syrian Security Area. It's another #MentorMonday at ACC! Today the mentor/mentee team are from Army Contracting Command-Redstone Arsenal center: Linda Derby, a contracting officer/team lead and highly enthusiastic mentor who supports developing and building excellence and superior performers, and mentee David “Chris” Webb, a contract specialist whose natural aptitude is to learn by actively absorbing knowledge while asking intelligent questions. This partnership has been going strong for more than a year, working toward short and long term tactical and strategic goals, including studying for the CFCM exam, administering customized learning that is not broadly offered to the workforce at large, and one-on-one training. Yesterday #MICC hosted Walk-It-Out-Wednesday, an in-person and virtual walking contest for personnel to log 250 cumulative walking or running miles each Wednesday before the Army’s birthday commemoration on June 14. Over 50 personnel attended the event in person, while over 27 teams of up to five personnel each, across the MICC enterprise, registered and logged miles for the initiative. The walk was part of MICC’s Wellness Wednesday, a monthly event where the Command Team has committed to hosting a series of health and wellness events around the command footprint to promote team building and esprit de corps while enhancing the contracting organization’s readiness, health and resilience.
