During the month of November, the Army and ACC recognizes Native American Heritage Month along with the rest of the United States. This month-long observance is an opportunity to recognize and honor the rich history, diverse cultures and enduring contributions of the indigenous peoples of North America. In honor of this observance, ACC would like to recognize Myra Pilachowski of the U.S. Army Contracting Command - Aberdeen Proving Ground center. Pilachowski is a contract specialist at ACC-APG who is committed to representing the Rappahannock Tribe history. She particularly took the time in 2019 to offer a presentation to APG employees on her heritage with history, artificts, and information that included the tribe's path from 1920 to 1983 for state recognition and their efforts to secure federal recognition in 2018. #NativeAmericanHeritageMonth #diversity #BeAllYouCanBe

On the morning of Nov. 20, employees from Fox Army Health Clinic on @Team Redstone came to the ACC Headquarters atrium lobby to administer flu vaccinations to military members of the command just before the Thanksgiving holidays. Many ACC military employees, including leaders such as the deputy commander for overseas operations, COL Jason Jefferis, took the opportunity to get the free-of- charge vaccines at such convenience. Thanks to Fox for the wonderful partnership and keeping the ACC team healthy! ??????

In a ceremony transitioning between command sergeants major for the #MICC , Command Sgt. Maj. Jason Gusman relinquished responsibility to Command Sgt. Maj. JennyAnne Bright in the presence of over 100 virtual attendees and over 160 in-person attendees today at the historic MICC Long Barracks, JBSA-Fort Sam Houston. Another great Turkey Bowl showdown between Army and Air Force Contracting! This year was an intense offensive battle, with the Air Force emerging victorious, scoring nine touchdowns to Army's seven. While we didn't secure the win, we commend our Air Force brethren for their performance and sportsmanship. We will be back next year stronger and ready for the challenge. #413thCSB #ArmyContracting
