In 2023, the World Bank reported Nepal's female labor-force ???? participation rate at 28.7%, compared to 53.9% for men, with women's literacy rates also significantly lower. These disparities are reflected around the world and contribute to generational cycles of poverty and economic dependency. On March 10, Tzu Chi warmly welcomed representatives from faith-based organizations to the High-Level Multi-Faith Reception, hosted by the MFAC Gender Working Group. ?? This special gathering provided a space for meaningful collaboration and solidarity in advancing gender equality and human rights. A particularly moving moment of the evening was the Pledge Session, where everyone cheered ?? in unison as Dr. Rev. Uzoaku Juliana Williams, as part of the JISRA delegation, led the room in a powerful declaration: “Together we stand in solidarity. We commit to listening, learning, and advocating for policies and practices that promote equality, justice, and human rights for all—regardless of gender, religion, or expression.” ???
