We are devastated to share the news of the recent passing of Jordan Dwyer, youngest son of our COO John Dwyer. Please help Jordan’s memory live on forever by donating to Jordan and Landon’s foundation at https://jdlc.org.
On February 9th the world lost two rising stars active on this platform, my youngest son Jordan Dwyer and his lifelong friend Landon Crossley. Both were graduates of the University of Oklahoma, passionate about their career paths, and had a unique ability to naturally inspire everyone around them. Unfortunately their lives were tragically ended when an intoxicated 51 year old on a business trip in New Mexico decided to get behind the wheel and enter a freeway traveling the wrong direction. The four 26 year old friends were two hours away from their weekend snowboarding destination. You hear about the pain associated with grief, but after experiencing the gut-wrenching loss of a child that accounted for one of my three most proud accomplishments, it is beyond anything I ever associated with the word pain. This enormous loss is testing my faith, resilience, focus, and perspective. I am blessed to have a great support network of family and friends, and felt the time was right to reach out to my LinkedIn network, as well. So, to get to the business point, I want to announce a new role I am adding to my resume as a founder and general partner for a non-profit organization. Through an outpouring of support from over 730 GoFundMe donors that raised $140K, we are announcing the launch of the Jordan Dwyer & Landon Crossley Foundation, aimed at inspiring others to "Live Like Jordan & Landon". Our mission is to help young people with a desire to excel through mind, body, and spirit, cultivate a strong sense of character and leadership. I'm reaching out to this powerful network to help us create something truly special. I welcome your input, ideas, and donations as we work to create a successful foundation and make a lasting impact in the lives of others. I want to thank my Tynt Technologies, Inc. family for the love and support shown during this tough time. Technology start-ups are not easy, and having great co-founders, investors, and partners makes it worthwhile. Also, a special thank you to Aroma Sharma and the supporting team at McDermott Will & Emery for helping us establish the foundation and kick off an organization that both of these guys would have been proud to serve. Check out our website at www.jdlc.org and let's make a difference together.
