We're looking for conservation-minded young adults (ages 18-30) with recreation and volunteer opportunities to foster a new generation of State Park stewards! I’m beyond thrilled to share that I have been accepted into the Texas State Parks Ambassador Program in association with the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department! My ambassadorship will take place at Pedernales Falls in Johnson City! Our Ambassador Leadership Training begins next week, where all central region ambassadors will come together to share the outdoors for 5 days while discussing and completing hands on community service projects, outreach opportunities, social media engagement, Leave No Trace, and much more! I look forward to sharing this experience as well as the next six months in my ambassadorship. Thank you to all the support I have received while working towards this unique experience!

INTERNSHIP for LAW SCHOOL STUDENTS! ???? TPWD is seeking an unpaid intern to assist in providing legal services this summer! The TPWD Legal Division supports the TPWD mission by providing legal advice and assistance to TPWD staff and the Texas Parks and Wildlife Commission regarding matters within TPWD's authority. Areas of law practiced at TPWD include fish and wildlife; administrative; water quality and water rights; criminal; employment; torts; contracts; real estate; constitutional; and open government. The duties of an intern may include the following: conducting legal research; reviewing and analyzing legal documents, records, and motions; assisting attorneys in preparing for and attending meetings and hearings; assisting attorneys in providing legal advice and counsel to TPWD staff; and performing related work as assigned. Exact dates will be determined with selected interns. ? Qualified candidates must be currently enrolled in law school. Please submit cover letter, resume and unofficial law school transcript. ?
