"Driven: A Survivor's Story" We set out to translate "The 24 Characteristics of a Genius" by Dr. Alfred Barrios from mere words on a page into visually compelling and emotionally resonant stories for Genius World. From creative development, casting, production, filming, and post-production, we took extreme care with every step of this project to tell the stories of 48 individuals authentically. Kate Foster is the first in this series of 48 individuals. Her tale is one of incredible determination and perseverance and reminds us that anything is possible when you push past your physical and mental barriers. At just 7 years old, Kate embarked on an incredible journey in the world of gymnastics only to be diagnosed with cancer, not once, but twice. Her determination, resilience, and DRIVE shone through as she battled leukemia twice and continued to pursue her passion for gymnastics, all while adapting to life with a prosthetic leg. Discover the incredible story of Kate, her impactful contributions to her community, and how she harnesses the traits of Genius in her daily life.
