Exciting changes are happening in #Medicare. Starting January 1, the new Medicare Prescription Payment Plan will be available as an option to help spread out-of-pocket drug costs over the year through monthly payments. “This will enable people to spread out those out-of-pocket drug costs over the course of the year, so you don’t experience that sticker shock and those cash flow issues at the pharmacy,” Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services Deputy Administrator and Medicare Director Dr. Meena Seshamani tells AARP. Last night was a profoundly enriching experience as a diverse assembly of healthcare leaders convened to strengthen the value-based community in Texas.
