Join us for a powerful afternoon of art and advocacy! TGS is partnering with multidisciplinary artist Claudia Maysen for a FREE private reception and exhibit tour in Fort Worth on Saturday, March 29, from 2:30-5 PM. Maysen’s work explores the social, economic, and political systems that enable gun violence—and the resilience of communities impacted by it. Her exhibit, featured in the Dallas Morning News, includes installations, paintings, videos, and sculptures, inspired by the Uvalde tragedy. We’d be honored to have you join us in witnessing this moving exhibition and reflecting on our shared mission to end gun violence in Texas. ??RSVP at the link below Reception Details: ?? Enjoy complimentary water, lemonade, iced tea, and a selection of snacks & treats. ?? ?? Take Action: Stop SB 1362! ?? SB 1362 is a dangerous bill based on misinformation about Extreme Risk Protection Orders (ERPOs), a lifesaving tool that prevents gun tragedies by temporarily removing firearms from individuals in crisis. With 88% of Texans—including 81% of Republicans—supporting ERPOs, this bill is out of step with what Texans want. Tell your senator to oppose SB 1362 and stand for public safety. Use our pre-written email to make your voice heard NOW! https://lnkd.in/gqvwuTUx #TXLege #StopSB1362 #GunSafety #EndGunViolence

?? TOMORROW is Amplify Austin Day! ?? Last week, we showed up. We spoke out. Now, we keep going. Texans rallied, met with legislators, and demanded action at Advocacy Day. But our work isn’t done. A Texan dies by a firearm every 2 hours, and together, we can change that. The more YOU donate the more we can raise, thanks to Amplify Austin’s matching funds—fueling real change to keep our communities safe. Relive the power of Advocacy Day and stay engaged for what’s next. Every dollar. Every action. It all counts. #AmplifyAustin #TexasGunSense #DoSomethingTX #AdvocacyDay2025 I Live Here I Give Here
