The second annual Two Ravens VC "Conspiracy of Ravens" Slush dinner was a delightful gathering of founders, investors, and tech ecosystem folks. We are fortunate to have such a great group of friends with us on our journey to build Two Ravens into an elite venture firm. The remarkable team at the Sk?rd Restaurant (https://sk?rd.fi) in Helsinki treated us to a gastronomic tour de force of native Finnish ingredients (heart of mallard? porcini mushroom ice cream? "We made it last winter, because we had nothing better to do." Yup!). I cannot recommend this place enough. Thank you, Samuli Syv?huoko for the recommendation. See you in 2025!

Together with my co-founder Martin Schilling, we’re thrilled to unveil the next version of Deep Tech Momentum—Europe’s first pan-European marketplace for Deep Tech capital and customers. Our mission: to catalyze €1 billion in venture capital and foster 10,000 partnerships between Europe’s leading high-tech corporations and Deep Tech founders by 2030. Deep Tech Momentum is both a digital and physical marketplace. We will scale two flagship events per year into Europe’s leading Deep Tech conference, alongside building Europe's leading tech-driven platform for Deep Tech collaborations and investments. A little story on how we got here… ?? Back in Autumn 2022, Martin and I launched Deep Tech Momentum (DTM) in partnership with RWTH Aachen University during our time at Techstars Berlin. Our mission was simple: to catapult founders forward by offering unmatched access to investors, customers, and mentorship, manifesting in a 100-person event in Factory Network. ? Fast forward to Spring 2024 and DTM has grown 10x, becoming Europe’s leading Deep Tech bootcamp. To date, DTM has facilitated €119M+ in funding, forged 75+ partnerships between startups and corporates, and enabled 2,000+ on-site connections among founders. As usual, Berlin delights and delivers. I had a great time hanging out and talking about venture fundraising with Techstars Berlin, led by Brian Daly and his terrific team Wanying Zhang, Patrick Giavelli, and Rita de Almeida Russo. Then, I spent time with the awesome entrepreneurs at Two Ravens VC portfolio company senvo, Marie Kober, Ula? Türkmen, and Theresa Rodriguez. It was also great to reconnect with former colleagues, Martin Schilling and Isabelle Flanagan, who built Deep Tech Momentum, the most exciting Deeptech marketplace and conference in Europe. Lastly, no trip to the Grey City would be complete without some quality time with legit creative genius and dear friend Mundi Vondi, co-founder and co-CEO of Klang Games - keep an eye out for their upcoming Seed release in 2025. I had a ton of fun teaching my fundraising masterclass and hanging out with the founders of the Build in Tulsa Techstars Accelerator, led by Tré Baker.
