Two Hands Four Paws转å‘了
Many people ask…â€How do you accomplish these results?†This wasn’t our first time seeing a rescued puppy with Carpal Laxity Syndrome (bow-legged). (Remember Daffodil, the albino Doberman pup?) So we knew exactly what to do! We started with land exercises, focusing on core strengthening, balance, and proper alignment of Cowboy’s carpi. Using tools like the Bosu ball and Fitbones, we worked on weight shifting, play bows, and even puppy push-ups to build strength and stability. We challenged him with crunches and exercises where he balanced on his thoracic limbs (front legs) only, then progressed to standing on all fours. To top it off, Cowboy hit the underwater treadmill (UWTM) to practice proper gaiting and alignment—though he wasn’t too thrilled about that part (He got a little bored at some points but we can’t blame him as a puppy!) Despite his endless energy, he powered through, and the results speak for themselves.
