A field tech may need a mobile experience, while an ops manager benefits from web. ? What’s the core function? Simple data visibility is far different from full remote equipment control. ? How responsive must it be? Real-time vs. periodic data processing require different architecture patterns. ? Does it need offline capabilities? Connectivity isn’t always a guarantee in rugged environments. While jumping in is good, don't rush to action without giving at least some level of consideration to future constraints.
