??? Spotlight on LA's Iconic Skyline! If you live in Los Angeles, you've likely seen the Wilshire Grand Center, the tallest building west of the Mississippi. During its construction, Twining ensured quality control for the 21,200 yd3 mass foundation (a 2014 Guinness record!), at 7 batch plants, 13 boom pump stations, and provided temperature monitoring and technical support. This foundation makes the cranes look "small."

Hossein presented his paper, "3D Numerical Analysis of the Seismic Response of a Clay-Core Rockfill Dam under Drought" at the ASCE National Geotechnical Conference (Geo-Frontiers 2025), which has now been published in ASCE. You can find his paper here: https://lnkd.in/gbj-Ag4m
