We love a science fair! Our own Hossein Bahmyari served as Professional Judge for Civil Engineering projects yesterday at the 71st Annual Greater San Diego Science & Engineering Fair. The event had over 800 junior and senior participants!

??? Spotlight on LA's Iconic Skyline! If you live in Los Angeles, you've likely seen the Wilshire Grand Center, the tallest building west of the Mississippi. During its construction, Twining ensured quality control for the 21,200 yd3 mass foundation (a 2014 Guinness record!), at 7 batch plants, 13 boom pump stations, and provided temperature monitoring and technical support. This foundation makes the cranes look "small."

Honoring Heritage: Black History Month Employee Highlights As we continue to celebrate Black History Month, we recognize Emmanuel Abrifor, who has been in the Construction and Engineering industry for 6 years and is currently a Project Manager here at Twining. Inspired by Nelson Mandela and Martin Luther King Jr., Emmanuel believes in the importance of amplifying black voices. He recalls a moment at a Beverly Hills construction site where a fellow black man expressed joy at seeing another black person.
