Special thanks to TED Headquarters Directorate of Foreign Languages. ? ?? In this enhancing session, ? Our main aim was to be able to identify Al concepts, design effective prompts, and evaluate Al tools for teaching four language skills: reading, writing, speaking, and listening. ? We focused on our experiences in using AI in our teaching context via using several tools like Padlet and Curipod. ? We reviewed AI tools like MagicSchool AI, Twee, Playbrary, Diffit for Teachers, and Brisk Teaching under the light of BRIDGE (Build language skills, Reduce, Intuitive, Develop learning process, Get together, Extend) and talked about OpenAI's ChatGPT. A fantastic second session at Association for Language Learning sharing loads of ideas and resources to make planning so much easier! The Spanish Embassy Education office and Esmeralda Salgado shared some fantastic AI ideas that will save so much time using Vidnoz, Diffit for Teachers, Mizou AI, Flippity and Twee - it looks like I might need to move into the 21st century! I’ve been teaching with authentic materials for as long as I can remember, and AI has completely revolutionized this process—making it faster, more effective, and allowing educators to focus on what truly matters: developing new teaching strategies. Today, I had a great feedback session with Ayelet Harel from Twee, discussing their latest features and vocabulary teaching. I always appreciate the opportunity to contribute to the development of tools that enhance the language learning experience—and make teachers’ lives easier in the process! Technology is transforming education, and it’s exciting to see platforms like Twee evolving to meet the needs of both learners and educators. Looking forward to seeing what’s next! P.S. One feature, released yesterday, worth checking out: CEFR Level Checker—a tool that quickly analyzes any text and determines its proficiency level according to CEFR.
