As an EMO, we operate as a comprehensive service provider for high-quality public charter schools across South Carolina. We assist our schools in all phases from charter application, school design, development, finance, construction, operations, marketing, and curricula. This past Friday we held our bi-annual Tutelage Family of Schools Retreat on the beautiful campus of Presbyterian College. It was an incredible day of planning and collaboration. We are committed to excellence in all that we do. Our students and families deserve nothing less.

We’re thrilled to share that Cherokee Charter Academy has once again distinguished itself with outstanding achievements, as recognized by the Charter Institute at Erskine. Recently, the school received the Gold School of Distinction award honoring its Middle School for outperforming district averages in both math and English/language arts, as well as for remarkable student growth. Additionally, the Elementary School was honored with the Bronze School of Distinction for exceeding local district averages across core academic subjects. Libertas Academy Boiling Springs has also earned prestigious accolades, including the Culture of Excellence Award for its "Excellent” rating in School Climate on the 2024 state report card. This award reflects high marks in teacher and student perspectives on instructional focus, working conditions, safety, and overall school environment. LABSA was also recognized with the Year One Trailblazer Award – a first-ever honor for exemplary performance and innovation in its inaugural year. Furthermore, the school proudly received its first school report card rating of "Good" (the second-highest rating), underscoring our commitment to academic excellence and growth. And the best part? We’re just getting started.

?? Strong Start for Libertas Academy ?? We are thrilled to announce that Libertas Academy has earned a "Good" rating** on our very first state school report card for the 2023-2024 school year, the second highest rating possible! Also, Libertas Academy's middle school students scored in the top 10% statewide for English/Language Arts and in the top 25% for math — a true testament to the hard work of all students, teachers, and the entire Libertas Academy community. Director Celina Patton shared, “This achievement reflects the dedication of everyone involved—our goal now is to earn an 'Excellent' rating and become the highest-performing school in our area!” Board Chair Keith Coones added, "It's more than just about grades—it's about creating a space where students can thrive. It was an historic day for Libertas Academy - Boiling Springs. We officially raised the flags, celebrating a beautiful new school building, and most importantly, the promise of providing an exceptional public education to our students.
