关于我们
The Temple University Supply Chain Association (TU-SCA) was officially recognized as an SPO in the Fox School of Business in Spring of 2015. I had the honor of attending the SCM Mini Mega Meeting hosted by The Traffic Club of Philadelphia last night. It was a pleasure representing the Temple University Supply Chain Association as always. I am so grateful that I was given the opportunity to connect with my peers and receive advice from industry professionals.

For the second year in a row, and soon to be… another! It was great representing Temple University Supply Chain Association at last night’s Mini MEGA Meeting! Reconnecting with familiar faces and meeting new ones always makes these events worthwhile. A huge shoutout to The Traffic Club of Philadelphia, The Traffic Club of the Lehigh Valley, ASCM - Philadelphia Area Network Chapter, ISM-Philadelphia, Inc. and CSCMP - Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals for organizing this event. I can't express enough how grateful I am for their continued support in creating opportunities for students to engage, learn, and grow. Looking forward to collaborating with each of you even more in the future! Also, a big appreciation to the York College of Pennsylvania and Penn State University students who made the trip—you made the most of it, and I hope to see you stepping into even more networking events (maybe even some college collabs)!

Looking forward to a future collaboration between Temple and York Supply Chain students ??
My first Mini Mega Meeting is officially in the books! Nothing is better than networking with empowered student leaders and knowledgeable industry professionals all in one night. Professors Mohammed Raja, PhD, CTSC, CPIM, CSCP and Matt Shatzkin, COL (Ret.), Ph.D., CMQ-OE accompanied our ASCM Student Forum members as we made connections with The Traffic Club of Philadelphia, The Traffic Club of the Lehigh Valley, the Institute for Supply Management, the CSCMP Philadelphia Roundtable, and the ASCM Southeastern Pennsylvania Alliance Chapter. A special thanks to Subodha Kumar who gave the most wonderfully thoughtful presentation on AI-Driven Supply Chain Analytics. I walked away from the night with lots of insight to bring back to my peers at York College of Pennsylvania and a personal hunger to learn more about future supply chain trends. Temple University Supply Chain Association and the other institutions who were represented last night, you are inspiring! I can not wait to continue to hear about all of the amazing things you and your students do in and outside of the classroom. See you all next year! #YCPsupplychain

Over the past decade, we’ve come so far as a student organization. And it’s incredible to see the next generation of young professionals from Temple University, Penn State University, and York College of Pennsylvania coming together, networking, and making the most of opportunities at the Mini MEGA Meeting! A special thank to The Traffic Club of Philadelphia, The Traffic Club of the Lehigh Valley, ASCM - Philadelphia Area Network Chapter, ISM-Philadelphia, Inc., and CSCMP - Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals for not only hosting such a great event but for continuously investing in students—offering support, sponsorships, and experiences that help us expand our knowledge in the field. This wouldn’t be possible without you! Shoutout to the new faces who stepped out of their comfort zones to network and grow. We love seeing more students taking charge of their professional development. Hoping to see even more of you at upcoming events!

It's a busy day at the port… and for us! ?? Huge thanks to Sean Hurley-Del Vecchio and Donia Shahata for giving our members a behind-the-scenes look at APM Terminals in NJ yesterday! We hopped on a shuttle with Donia as our guide to get a firsthand look at how this 24/7 operation keeps global trade moving. Key takeaways from the tour: ? APM Terminals is the 2nd largest terminal in the area ? The only terminal that runs 100% appointment-based ? Vessels are 90% on time ? …And we even heard some wild stories about container abandonment! It’s not every day we get to trade the classroom for a real-world adventure, but we’re making it happen! More tours are coming soon—stay tuned and sign up to be part of the next one! #APMTerminal #MaerskTour #PortOperations #technology #automation

Our incredible e-board members, Byron Adlam, Anh Man, Rosie Byrne, and Shawn Kowalczyk had an unforgettable time at The Traffic Club of New York's Annual Dinner, a milestone moment as it was their first time representing Temple University this event! Thanks to the generous sponsorship from the SCM Advisory Board, they were able to foster meaningful connections, strengthen our brand presence, and pave the way for exciting opportunities which will in turn, enrich our student community. We appreciate our dedicated members for continuously expanding their networks and supporting the growth of knowledge within our organization. And of course, a big thank you to Professor Misty Blessley, Ph.D. and the Advisory Board for believing in and investing in the future of our student leaders.
